WALLYCOM is an original work
written/directed/produced by Maureen O'Brien.
An award-winning
songwriter, she has also written 5 new songs for the production including:
- TECH TALK - a chorus number - opens the show and is an upbeat lyrical number based around the jargon of technology
- BERYL'S SONG - Beryl reminisces about how simple it was to use the telephone in the "old days"
- COMPUTER GUY - is sung by the IT nerd, Robert and explains the relationship between techies and their computers!
- DON'T BLAME IT ON ME - a chorus number, led by Gladys, which finishes the show, describing the role that Corporate practice has played in rationalising companies through the use of technology et al
